Opening New Doors to Beauty and Wellness

“Beauty is in the heart of the beholder.” - H.G. Wells.
For all his literary genius, this English novelist couldn’t have known that he was also describing the vision of one long-time Billings resident. Janine Griffin is the beautiful face behind Central Wellness, a medical and aesthetic facility that fills a spacious new building on the West End. The expansive windows let in streams of sunlight, and lofty wood-beamed ceilings perfectly complement the rugged Montana mountains in the distance. There is a fragrance of subtle femininity in the air, with delicate touches of flowers in a vase and arcing ambient light. The building itself inspires beauty, peace, and wellness; a goal Janine does not take lightly for her clients. She says, “In this hectic and crazy world, women have a tendency to take care of others before refilling their own cup. I built Central Wellness for this purpose.”
The clinic opened in 2012 and has offered high-quality services by skilled professionals for the past ten years. The staff consists of family nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and a medical assistant with extensive knowledge in medical-grade skincare lines. Janine is proud of the team that she has built and the expertise they bring to the table.
The brand promise speaks for itself; CW is so confident that you’ll love your treatment that they personally guarantee the results. Janine says, “This guarantee is made possible by the confidence we have in our highly trained and certified medical professionals, coupled with proven technology and world-class skin care. We stand behind our commitment to provide an unsurpassed level of value with our treatments at Central Wellness.” The providers are careful not to promise immediate changes or unrealistic expectations. Instead, they partner with clients to help realistically achieve aesthetic and wellness goals to inspire confidence from beginning to end and inside out.
The holistic approach to health and beauty that Central Wellness offers prioritizes each client’s individual needs and goals. Procedures like Coolsculpting, CoolTone, and laser hair and vein removal offer quick yet gentle treatments with minimal to no downtime. This is important to busy customers who want to feel more confident in their bodies without being down for the count for very long. Injectables such as Botox, Dermal Filler, and Sculptra combat the effects of aging in a way that still looks natural and fresh. Janine describes some of her favorite procedures, saying, “For a quick treatment, I love our HydraFacial!” This non-invasive service treats wrinkles, acne, dryness, and other skin conditions in a five-step process that’s perfect for any skin type. She says, “For mind and body, Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy is perfect, and our Microneedling treatment delivers dramatic results without the use of heat or chemicals. Life is moving at such a fast pace, and most of the time, we are running to catch up. When you make time for yourself, it has to count. It is important to us that we help empower women to feel better about themselves so they can go out and conquer the world.”
In addition to the attention Central Wellness offers to a client’s physical beauty, the team also strives to support clients’ emotional and mental health. Janine is proud that her staff “treats each client as part of our family. We truly care and get to know our clients. I noticed one of our staff members the other day hug a client and tell her how much she loved her. She never knew her before Central Wellness.” Janine says that although she is typically not a crier, she cannot help feeling empathy for every client who walks in the door with the hope of improving their physical health and confidence about how they look.
Some clients have a common misconception that treatments will make them look fake or like they have had work done . Janine encourages these customers to look around at the staff and observe whether anyone looks like a counterfeit copy of themselves. Clients are often shocked to realize that although nearly all staff members participate in laser or filler treatments, Coolsculpting and Botox, they look refreshed and healthy rather than overdone . Clients of all ages seek out Central Wellness for a wide range of procedures. When asked if there’s a typical client demographic, Janine says with a smile, “Years ago, I would have said 38 to 65. Now, we see teenagers for skin care and people in their 20s for preventative treatment, which is so smart. The next person through our doors might even be a client in their 80s! You are never too young or too old to do something nice for yourself. It’s so fun to see men and women walk out of our front doors, smiling and standing a little taller than when they came in. That is truly what it is all about.”
