WILD WEST TIME TRAVELERS 

  • Week 1: June 7-11 (M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm)
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $175/week
  • Take a trip back in time and explore the Wild West! Learn the skills that the early cowboys, pioneers, and mountain men mastered. Camp will focus on the early inhabitants and settlers of Yellowstone Valley and the surrounding areas. Activities include: visiting historical sites and tours, hiking, climbing, and canoeing.

SURVIVOR CHALLENGE

  • Week 2: June 14-18, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $195/week 
  • A unique experience that tests campers' endurance, attitude, team spirit, wilderness knowledge, and resourcefulness. By focusing on teamwork and building unity among ALL campers, everyone is sure to enjoy this thrilling camp. Activities include: small team challenges, historical landmark tours, and hiking!

INCREDIBLE AQUATIC EXPLORATION

  • Week 3: June 21-25, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Week 7: July 19-23, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $195/week
  • Make a splash this summer with exciting water activities! Water education is provided, as well as exposure to new aquatic experiences. Activities include: white water rafting, snorkeling and water slides!

SCIENCE WEEK

  • Week 4: June 28-July 2, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $175/week
  • Explore the great unknowns science has to offer, plus some of the amazing engineering feats humans have created. Activities include: rocket launches, science labs, dam building, and other exciting activities. 

INTO THE WILD

  • Week 5: July 6-9, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $145/week
  • Geared towards learning about nature and what it has to offer. This hands-on camp enlightens campers of activities that our great state provides. Including: Paddle boarding, Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary, Yellowtail Dam, and Pompey's Pillar. 

ULTIMATE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE 

  • Week 6: July 12-16, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Week 9: Aug 2-6, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $245/week
  • This mega adventure exposes campers to the thrilling outdoors. There is overnight camping on Thursday night each week (menus and overnight schedule are provided prior to camping trip). Activities include overnight camping, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and much more! 

ANIMAL PLANET

  • Week 8: July 26-30, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $195/week
  • Camp will focus on learning about plants, animals, and insects found in Montana and around the world and the extraordinary adaptations that allow them to survive in harsh conditions. Activities include: ZooMontana and Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary.

ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE

  • Week 10: Aug 9-13, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $175/week
  • As outrageous as your child’s imagination, this camp will provide creative scenarios that teach life-saving survival skills. Gore is limited, however, the post-apocalypse sensation is explored at great length. Activities include: zombie dress, zombie races and zombie challenges.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMP

  • Week 11: Aug 16-20, M-F, 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Ages: 9-13
  • Cost: $195/week
  • Parks and Rec will be in partnership with BE BETTER, to help campers learn leadership, confidence, and self-empowerment. Half of each camp day will be spent with William Henry, Founder and CEO of Be Better World. Activities will be based around building positive qualities and confidence going into the school year.

11 WEEKS OF PIONEER PLAYHOUSE

  • Playhouse provides a variety of exciting and fun-filled opportunities. Each week follows a fun and creative theme, with daily, themed activities.

  • This classic, all-day camp has made a comeback! This is a camp for kids who want to experience all of the best activities the Magic City has to offer. Camp is based out of Veterans Park. Campers will engage in activities in the park, as well as travel throughout the Billings community.

GRANITE'S ACTIVE SUMMER CAMP

  • This summer, the Moss transforms to “Mogwarts Academy,” welcoming young witches and wizards to a week of Harry Potter-themed learning and FUN! Magical professors will be on-site to instruct students in the art of herbology, potions, and the study of Magical Creatures. Crafts, House games, scavenger hunts, and more are in store for an unforgettable summer adventure!

AMERICAN GIRL DOLL SUMMER CAMP

  • Join us and American Girl Doll, Rebecca, as we step back in time to 1914. Campers will learn how Rebecca’s qualities shine through them, exhibiting integrity, compassion and confidence. We’ll also explore one of Rebecca’s main interests – acting! Camp activities will include making doll accessories, touring the Moss Mansion (all the way to the third floor!), and engaging in unique indoor and outdoor hands-on activities. Bring your favorite doll and get ready to make new friends and memories this summer!

  • Come make a mess in Billings Parks & Recreation’s kitchen! We provide young chefs the opportunity to find success preparing their favorite dishes. Safety is important during this class and kitchen etiquette is taught to ensure each participant is safe. Bring your creativity and appetite for this exciting class!
