NOVA Center for the Performing Arts Media Release
SEPT 1, 2021, BILLINGS | NOVA Center for the Performing Arts announced on Wednesday that they're shifting gears from an in-person event for its annual fall fundraiser, Reds, Whites, and Brews to a virtual fall fundraising campaign beginning September 2021. This event provides the funds to support the season and continuation of the theater's mission to provide drams, musical theater, improv comedy, opera, and youth conservatory to our community.
In place of the live event; directors, actos, and singers will create a taste of the 2021-'22 season for online viewing via NOVA's website and social media channels. Expect to see singers from the opera Pagliacci and youth actors from the season’s opening youth play, Treasure Island.
A donation link has been set up for this event through NOVA’s ticketing system to enable you to donate a single amount, or if you wish to be a sustaining member of the theater you can use the recurring donations option that allows you to donate any amount you want on a monthly or quarterly basis. Your support will ensure the theater will continue to be a landmark for the community in downtown Billings.
"NOVA Center for the Performing Arts is home to a wide variety of performances, from opera to youth theater to live music, comedy, and community events. Along with outside organizations renting space for events, the building is constantly in use. NOVA is a performing arts center, not just a theater,” said Dodie Rife, NOVA Managing Producer.
The musical, Treasure Island, will run September 17 to September 26th with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
Tickets for Treasure Island are $16 and $10. Tickets for Pagliacci are $10- $21. Call 406-591-9535 or visit www.NOVAbillings.org for tickets or more information. Find us on Facebook.
Masks are necessary for all performances and will be available for attendees.
