United Way's Day of Action is a global call to action, inspiring individuals, organizations, and companies to engage with their communities and create positive change. It’s a meaningful chance for all of us to unite, understand our community’s needs, and take meaningful action to enhance our surroundings.
On June 19, United Way of Yellowstone County is hosting the 2024 Day of Action at Dover Park. In collaboration with Yellowstone River Parks Association, this event promises a day of outdoor engagement and community building.
Day of Action goes beyond a typical volunteer experience. It’s an opportunity to connect with nature while making a lasting impact. Activities such as restoring trails, removing invasive species, and enhancing park infrastructure, will not only benefit Dover Park but will also contribute to a more sustainable community for years to come.
2023 Day of Action
Participating in Day of Action offers more than just the satisfaction of giving back. Spending time outdoors has been proven to reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance cognitive function. It’s a chance to learn new skills, connect with your employees, coworkers, individuals, and build self-esteem.
