Homebody for the Holidays

There’s no place like home for the holidays and that tune has never rung truer than now. While we are spending more time than ever within the walls of our homes, why not deck the halls to the nines this holiday season?

Draw inspiration from local designer, Carrie Klein’s Christmas curation and take these cues to transform your home for the holidays.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

While gatherings will be smaller and more intimate this year, treat your loved ones to something special with attention to detail at every turn.

Oversized ornaments adorning bowls, mini liquor bottles in apothecary jars, and frosted pine cones resting on appetizer plates are just a few of the small table touches that add up to make a huge impact.

The Stockings Were Hung

No mantle for Santa? No problem. Swap the traditional stocking sentiments by displaying them in unexpected spots. Carrie hangs them on the backs of chairs in the dining room with greenery, and strung on a mirror with garland and lights.

Visions of Sugarplums

This playful pink, grey, and white room features a tree decorated with Barbie ornaments Carrie has collected over the years.

Mistletoe Kisses

Black and white bedding becomes a festive backdrop for a few Christmas throw pillows. The rest of the room receives a simple holiday makeover when greenery and holiday picks are added as accents throughout the space.
