April FUNdraising Fridays at the Western Heritage Center
April 2026
The Western Heritage Center is giving Billings a reason to look forward to Fridays this April. Their FUNdraising Friday series brings together friendly competition, engaging exhibits, and community connection, all in support of preserving the stories of the Yellowstone River Valley.
Each Friday evening offers something a little different, making it easy to join in once or come back week after week.
A Month of Friday Fun
The series begins April 3 at 5:00 p.m. with Billings ArtWalk. Guests are invited to explore current exhibitions, including Prisoner of War: Ben Steele’s Personal Chronicle from Bataan to Hiroshima, Delegations, Diplomacy and Daily Life: The Barstow Collection, and Hope in Hard Times: New Deal Photography. This open house event is free and offers a relaxed way to experience the museum.
On April 10, the energy shifts to BINGO Night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with games starting at 6:00 p.m. Adult tickets are $50 and include five cards, light refreshments, and the chance to win prizes. Additional cards are available for $10, and kids can join in for free.
Trivia Night follows on April 17, bringing teams of four together for an evening of friendly competition. Teams can explore exhibits before the game begins, then test their knowledge with multiple rounds of questions. Registration is $50 per team, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and trivia starting at 6:00 p.m.
The series wraps up on April 24 with a Jigsaw Puzzle Contest. Teams of up to four will race to complete identical 500-piece puzzles, which they get to keep. Registration is $50 per team, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the contest beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Supporting Something Bigger
Beyond the fun, each Friday serves a greater purpose. Proceeds from the series will support the museum’s upcoming Yellowstone Valley Gives campaign, helping fund new exhibits, educational programming, and the care of the Center’s collections.
“Friday FUNdraising is a great way for our community to gather, have fun, and support local history,” said Executive Director Becky Jeter. “Every ticket helps care for our collections, develop new exhibits, and provide educational programs for students and visitors.”
