Billings, MT | Friday, December 3, 2021 is December’s First Friday featuring the 30th annual Downtown Billings Holiday Stroll with fun holiday-centric events beginning at 5:00pm and going throughout the night. Both First Friday and the Holiday Stroll are coordinated by the Downtown Billings Alliance (DBA), the non-profit organization whose mission is to advocate for a vibrant downtown through event programming, clean and safe initiatives, public art, and business development tools.

The Billings community is invited to stroll through downtown and enjoy downtown businesses, retail shops, and other activated downtown spaces offering extended hours, specials, holiday beverages and snacks, and loads of holiday cheer.

North Broadway will be closed to cars between 5:00 and 8:00pm, allowing attendees to walk safely beneath the overhead lights on North Broadway. Within the pedestrian mall will be a Toys for Tots Toy Drive and wood burning fire pits, sponsored by White Heating and Air Conditioning. The Montana Brewing Company will have a patio bar pouring holiday beverages. The Billings Firefighters, Santa Claus, and a Vintage fire truck will join the North Broadway activities to host photos with Santa from 5:00 to 7:00pm, with cash donations going toward Muscular Dystrophy Association Fill the Boot efforts.

The LULU Trolley has been booked from 5:00 to 8:00pm, to offer free transportation from one end of downtown to the other. Sponsored by Bravera Bank, the trolley will have two stops for the event:

  1. 2nd Avenue North and North Broadway under Skypoint
  2. Montana Avenue in front of the Billings Depot.

The 28 seat trolley is new to Billings and is owned and operated by LULU Transportation and the owners of The LOFT Dance Club in Downtown Billings.
