Yellowstone Art Museum's 45th annual SummerFair has had a last minute location change due to the forecasted thunderstorms. Originally scheduled to be held at South Park, attendees can now experience all that this beloved summer staple has to offer in the comfort of MetraPark's Expo Center.
Yellowstone Art Museum's Director of Advancement, Precious McKenzie states,
"Due to concerns about the weather predictions for this weekend, we chose to move locations to provide shelter from the storms for our patrons and vendors. We would like to thank the amazing team at the Metra for helping us pivot so that our guests can have a safe and fun SummerFair."Precious McKenzie
SummerFair is the largest arts and crafts festival in the region, featuring artisans from across the country. Expect more than 75 artists, community groups, and food vendors to peruse this year. Artist booths at SummerFair include painting, pottery, art from nature, glass, wood, metal, fiber art, photography, body products, and artisan foods. SummerFair is the perfect place to find that unique gift for yourself or someone special while supporting the Billings community.
While SummerFair is a major fundraiser for the YAM, it "truly meets our mission by enriching the community through interactive experiences and creative exchange while collaborating with our community partners."
